No. The Remote Recording Database is open to anyone regardless of union affiliation.

Can union members join?

Yes. If you’re a member of a union it’s up to you to adhere to your union’s guidelines rules and regulations when taking jobs that may come through a connection made here.

Can I hide my profile from the directory?

Yes. You can control who sees your profile in your account settings, or hide it from the searchable directory entirely. This may be useful if you’re a composer or producer who uses the site to find other pros to work on your projects, but you don’t want visitors and fellow members to be able to find you.

Can I add an instrument not currently listed?

We’ve done our best to create a very thorough listing of instruments and relevant specialties. The easiest way to get through the instrument/specialty list is to simply start typing what you’re looking for. Chances are it’ll show up. However, if you can’t find what your’e looking for please contact us and we’ll help you find it, or if it doesn’t exist we’ll add it.
